REDACTED DISTILLATIONS: Le Corbusier’s transformative erasures

We are very happy to announce the publication of Jaime Correa’s book “REDACTED DISTILLATIONS: Le Corbusier’s transformative erasures”. The new book is a Conceptual Art project celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the publication of “Towards a New Architecture” (Vers une Architecture) by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier. As a deliberate homage to the Dadaist tradition, and following the same morphological rules of the “Cancellature” of Emilio Isgro, the “Greguerias” of Ramon Gomez de la Serna, or the censorship redactions produced by contemporary intelligence agencies, this publication identifies transformational intentions and imaginative variations to redact and transform, by means of deliberate erasures, the original version of the book. The final result is a collection of original messages for the advancement of today’s architecture and urbanism.

The book will be available in Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Google Play, Ingram, Kobo, Libri, Scribd, and Lulu at the end of January of 2021.
