THE AMERICAN FAMILY

Team: Jaime Correa

Four towers become a commentary on the American consumption of architecture. This is also a sociological exercise depicting the broad characteristics of the existing American family. The father is a strong environmentalist; his wife, Manhattan, filled with a conservative eroticism and a fragile glass head; their daughter, Savannah, dressed in a neo-libertarian attire; his Male son, is a post-Fordism structure occupying one-third of the space of its progenitors while carrying infinitely more meaning than any of the protagonists in previous generations.
