Informal settlements can be disorienting to visitors or strangers. This project , in the Santo Domingo Comune of Medellin, re-introduces a proven way-finding method to celebrate the target of its many sub-centers (see San Gimignano, Cadiz, or Cartagena). The new viewing towers are composed of a kit of parts that can be assembled by individual residents to fit their family housing needs.
